Refri does NOT collect, store, or share any personal data. We have zero access to your information.

Absolutely No Data Collection

Refri is built with privacy-first principles. We do not want your data, we do not need your data, and we do not collect your data.

1. No Personal Information

Refri does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect:

Your name, email address, or phone number
Your location or movements
Your device ID or any advertising identifiers
Any information about you or your household

2. How Photos are Handled

When you take photos of your fridge, they are processed as follows:

On-Device Prep: Photos are resized and compressed directly on your iPhone.
AI Analysis: The image content is sent via an encrypted connection to NVIDIA's AI endpoints solely for identifying ingredients and generating recipes.
No Storage: We do not store your photos on any server. NVIDIA's API processes the request in real-time and does not retain the images for training or storage after the session.
Zero Retention: Once you close the app or reset the flow, all temporary data is purged from your device's memory.

3. Third-Party Services

We use NVIDIA's NIM API to provide the "intelligence" for Refri. Their privacy policy ensures that they process data securely and do not store images beyond what is necessary to fulfill the real-time request. You can read their policy here.

4. No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any tracking SDKs, analytics tools (like Google Analytics or Firebase), or advertising networks. Your usage of the app is completely private between you and the AI engine.

5. Your Rights

Because we do not collect any information, there is nothing for you to request access to or delete. You are already in full control of your privacy by simply using the app.
